Resource Development Committee
Mission:
The mission of the Resource Development Committee is to raise money through targeted
Corporate campaigns, special events, mailings, etc. to further the advancement
of MCCP. The long-term goal is to complete a $39 million dollar restricted fund goal
so MCCP can provide ongoing comprehensive health and dental care for uninsured
children of the working poor of Fairfax County. Initiatives may include, but are
not limited to:
I. Major Corporate Campaign
- Letter writing campaign
- Proposals
- Meetings with executives
- Phone calls
- Involvement of Advisory Council members
II. Special Event Suggestions
- Golf Tournaments
- Business Roundtables
- Technical Assistance Contracts
- Produce Marketing Initiatives
- Booster or Special Public Schools Initiatives
III. Grants
- Foundations: Public and Private
- Federal, State or other Non-Profit Solicitations
- Endowments
- Charitable Trusts
